Future FocusED is a two-day immersive conference on expanding the nature of school. The event brings together more than 200 educators and industry leaders to talk about expanding education—and the future of teaching and learning—in a space and format designed to effect change.

Hosted by and at Beaver Country Day School—a globally recognized leader in education—this immersive conference is a "learning-by-doing" experience for anyone in the education field.

 

WHO ATTENDS FUTURE FOCUSED
In 2023, the inaugural Future FocusED had over 200 attendees from a variety of public, charter, and independent schools along with an array of nonprofits and foundations nationwide and globally. As a school that has diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice at the core of who we are, our conference attendees, speakers, and presenters reflected and celebrated the value of multiple perspectives, experiences, backgrounds, and identities.

Attendees leave these two days inspired by big questions and collaborative conversations—full of creative ideas, connections to partner with, and new tools in their toolkits to do the work. And we also believe a big part of an impactful conference experience is in the details of the where and the how.
